hello all

from studying this wiki
http://datsun1200.com/modules/mediawi ... l_transmission_conversion

i have learnt the cross member mounts for the manual gearbox (compared to automatic) are approximately 6 inches further back on a 120y

could anyone provide me with information or pictures on how a manual gearbox can be mounted in an automatic tunnel (120y)
i have spent some time gavering information but i cant seem to find any on the mounting of the cross member

any information is greatly appreciated
cheers
Jason

The best way is to use a 60 series manual, either 4 or 5 speed and then use the auto standard crossmember. It is a much better way to do it as the 60 series mounts are in a simular position on the gearbox to the auto. Otherwise you will just need to fabricate something to do the job.
