Over the last 12 months I keep seeing these big mosquitoes, never noticed them before that.
The biggest I have measured was about 25mm (body only), thats about 5 - 6 times the lenght of an everyday mossi around here.
Prob'ly feel it when these b@stards bite you.

Is that really a mozzi?

You don't have anything to worry about. These buggers don't carry malaria.

Up northern Aus they do but not the serious kind.

Tell you what, if you want to shake a few kilo's without doing any work then come for a visit to PNG.

Malaria in it's first primary- a week (if you rough it without Artemether) will strip you of at least a kilo and a half.

Looking at the size of that thing, that's a bloody flying leech....

I don't have a bug-book.

But that's a big sucker. So you've been putting up with these for a year?!

Do they buzz around like mozzies all slow and steady??

Get a bug-book quick!
