They don't handle as much torque as the H165 according to specs in wiki.

H165: 165mm ring gear, 6.50 inches
BW68 from 120Y: 6.80 inches

Bigger ring gear should be stronger. I couldn't find in the wiki where it said it's less strong than H165. Perhaps it was talking about the BW60 from the australia-assembled B110.

Pretty confident in saying they're close to the same strength. Similar size and the borgwarner is actually a bit heavier. Harry used one behind his L18 race car without issue.

DD I'm sure i read that the H165 can handle more torque will go look i may have been dreaming, Datsun dreams mmmm nice. Am buying a L18 worked with webbers etc and was told it will tear the H150 up and better be prepared to go to H165 ute diff.

very heavy unit would only suit and L or more powerful and heavier engine than A series
to balance out an already light vehicle. I would have though the H190 would be close to
and 8.8 ford diff.

I don't understand. That list doesn't say anything about the BW diff.

Well it actually says in wiki that there said (said) to be stronger than ute diff and DD isnt the H150 mentioned the BW diff its under rear axle swaps and they talk about the H150 from aussie 120y so i assumed the H150 in the list is the aussie one. Probably wrong yet again HA HA
