hey guys just wondering if a sunny steering wheel would fit on a datto 1000

What model of sunny? The steering wheel from my 1200 fit on my 1000.

Nah, not if its square headlight model anyway as i tried that last week on me wagon.

Aussies usually mean the B310 when they say Sunny. That was the only car in Aus badged as "Sunny".

Datsun 1200 wheel bolts straight to the Datsun 1000 shaft without problems, but the 1200's blinker canceling pins are wider apart than the 1000 models pins & these strike the original switch mechanism, which either prevents wheel rotation, making it hard to steer, or destroying the switch.

Datsun 1200 shaft also takes 200SX, F10, N10 wheels.

Other Datsun models, including the B310, used a larger diameter shaft & the boss for any of these will be too big in the hole.

I used one on my 1200 but had to use a saas steering wheel boss and only use 3 bolts like the datsun boss does, they are a real nice sized wheel though.
