My steering box has run out of adjustment, and it's just too wobbly on the highway.
How do I remove the thing without removing the engine (CA18)? is it better to just reco it or get a second hand one from a sunny (what else fits?)
Any advice would be great.

The bolts are pulled toward the engine, you may have to remove the engine.

Not sure, but I think 1978-1981 A10 (Stanza) will also fit.

its a prick of a job i dont think it can be done with the motor still in

theres a guy in perth that rebuilds them i was quoted 500 .
so that gives you an idea on cost

maybe concider rack n pinon steering cas it could cost less and be a #OOPS# load better
