I give mine a bit, clicked it over the 100 mile speedo a couple of times, and mine is a completely stock sedan, low k's though. I change the oil as often as possible usually once every 2 months or so and look after it as best as possible mechanically but i would say that they lack power

All this talk of smoking tyres in stock 1200's is just offensive, How could you be so cruel!! It may be all sh1ts and giggles until someone loses a eye. Have you thought of the ramifacations of your actions, have you thought of all those poor defenceless Datsuns! NO YOU HAVEN"T! I may just have to make a complaint to the RSPCD. You'll end up with records with the Datsun Police. Your lives will be ruined. You won't de able to get a Datsun Blue Card, that meens no working around Datsuns at all. You will be branded for life. Think about you are doing to your families, the shame!

Mine broke lose the other day on some "Accidently Spilt" diesel @ a friend work shop . Should of got some pics. 1st & 2nd, tried 3rd but my box is RS so it just snagged and ground. Not Good. Glad new box will be here tomorrow.

I'm racing motorkhanas, khanacrosses, supersprints, and doing bulk km with delivering and general getting to work stuff with my A12 at the moment till I finish my A14. I expected the ringlands to crack like the 14 but nothing of the sort has happened yet. I have broken a 56A box by flatshifting once, however it took at yeast a year or two before it actually let go during an attempted burnout. The bbalance shaft bearings let go and teh gears wanted to jump all over the place. it was still drivable though.
