hey guys i have changed my mind with my 1200 coupe project so now im selling my 12a 6port rotary motor and 6 speed rx8 gearbox, i have never had the motor going so i dont know the condition, was told when i brought it (2 months ago) that it was running and didnt blow smoke but cant confirm this, it has intake manifold,carby, distributor...missing flywheels and counterweight!
the 6 speed has only done 3000kms since new and comes with slave cylinder and hose, and starter motor and gearknob! this gearbox will bolt to any series rotary motor!
motor- $650
gearbox-1800
will do a deal if they go together!
will swap for ca18det and parts!

hi just want to know do you have the crossmember and gearbox mounts also what trans tunnel mods are needed to fit this in 1200 thanks

hey mate, no there are no engine or gearbox mounts! i hadnt made any yet, the motor was just sitting under the car on a stand that i made up! wouldnt be hard to make mounts! you will have to cut the center out of the original crossmember to allow the motor to sit low enough, i have a template crossmember made out of cardboard (to exact measurments) that will do the job, i have showed a engineer this crossmember and he said it was fine! trans tunnel will have to be cut out and enlarged! thanks, justin.

not sure but i thought maddat did a rotor to 1200 conversion kit. if not buy a cheap mig and make it ya self :)

nah maddat dont do one yet, i think there still working on it! it wouldnt be hard at all, the engine mount is hust a bit of flat plate that bolts to the front of the motor!
