Any Adelaide members got a dial indicator (and magnetic base) I can borrow?

Only need to borrow for a few days. Been looking on eBay but the prices are so cheap I wonder if they are accurate.

Yeah cool, I think one is more applicable to rotating parts, typically used by lathe-folk like you Aiden.

I am after the 'other' sort that I suspect you call the plunger.

It is to use on an engine to setup the cam (and to find out what the cam actually is).

If you have one with a base that'd be TOPS.

Ahh okay that's a problem. I'm working all weekend day and night so that probably won't work out. That's cool though, I'll probably have to source one elsewhere. Cheers anyway.

Nah no worries at all.

I have heaps of other little things to do before I think about timing. Cheers.

It looks like this engine is a loooong way from actually getting into the car.
