A15 rebuild question

forgive me for i am a bit of a newbie, but i have found this is the best place to get info. i am about to order parts to rebuild an A15 for my wagon and am confused by some markings on the pistons, they are:
RA2831
BOT4 0.03
0.50
i am assuming that 0.50 refers to a bigger bore by 0.50mm therefore i should order rings 0.50 oversize, but i have measured the bore at 76mm and the pistons at 76mm?...

The 0.50 normally means it is 0.50 oversize from the stock piston size, which is 76mm if I remember correctly. There must be a difference in size between bore and stroke sizes.

yeah ta, i think the calipers i had were crap, i borrowed a digital pair and measured the piston at 76.5mm. thanks for the reply.
