Has anyone got a dead 32/36DGV (ie manual choke version) that I could rat some parts off?

- or at least a complete unit that I could have a look at/get some pics of?

Just thought I'd try to lessen my search 'electronically' prior to heading to the wreckers ;)

Per pic below, I need the little parts that connect the choke rod to the choke control lever.

The rod just fits in the plastic grommet there. A washer and cotter pin hold it fast.

All our 32/36 are DGAV or DGEV, automatic choke. Datto automatic chokes fit the Weber!

Looks like newer DGV (manual choke) are different:

All good now Dave, it appears all I need is a spring, two washers and a split pin!

Jeff, try Carby Services at Burwood, or maybe Hardiman's at Beverley Hills. There's supposedly a conversion kit for auto to manual choke, & all these bits have part numbers. Hopefully Carby Services can help. The auto chokes I've seen on the 'donor' cars had a water hose fitting, so it closed off as the engine heated up. Nasty, ugly looking thing in my opinion.

Would it be possible to get a late model Nissan Micra, fit the 1.8 litre motor from a Tiida & then turbocharged it? Your answer must include parts numbers for the conversion. You have 12 months. Commence.
