i have just noticed that my wagon has only the 2 seat belts in the back. i checked the coupe and it is the same. are the sedans the same??? i dont have my rego papers handy to see if it is lisenced to carry 4 or 5 people. i want a centre seat blt so i can fit the family in the wagon.

Have 3 old sedans , none have center belts. They have got original KANGOL belts in the back so nothing has been changed.

it's on the the id plate on the car and I doubt it's a 5 seater.

Nissan didn't offer middle seat belts in USA nor in Japan.

why not add one, just add a lap only to the two mounting points where the buckles are mounted for the other passengers?

not advisable but as long as not a daily might get you out of a bind in an emergency?

the proper way would be to consult an engenieer and get one installed, they can advise you of how to mount it legally.
