hey tom, I dont know if you remember asking for the cam spec's a while back on my A15 or not but here they are - sorry it took so long. This is the Delta cam regrind out of Tacoma,WA.

11053-73400 DOWEL(14)(CYLINDER HEAD LOCATING) 2 per block
for A13, A14, A15, A12A and late A12.

Nissan list price is $0.83 USD per each.

By the way, the parts catalog does not list any for the Datsun 1200 A12 (early A12).

That price is from the 2009 catalog, so it appears you can get them from Nissan. Or maybe they just ran out?

The same Dowel part number is good at a forklift parts supplier for Komatsu, Nissan, and TCM forklifts.

Thanks Guys.........armed with the part number I've got what I need.

Ed thanks for the cam sheet.

Dave I think the dowels maybe a GX thing..........possible not........when I refitted the head yesterday I thought the head gasket shifted and after firing the motor I've got oil weeping out.........just enough to be annoying, after I sort the carbs I'll take care of it.
