Got a set of 1200 coupe struts with discs and 120y panel van calipers no springs but you can use your originals or buy some King Springs.

Well they bolt straight in you need to make a few changes to fit stanza struts. Stopping power difference stanza would be better but if your just running an A series engine then the 1200 coupe discs and 120y calipers will do fine.

You could try & find some 76-78 120Y sedan front struts, which have the PBR caliper & a slightly larger disc than the 1200 coupe strut. I've had problems with running 13's on 1200 struts, with the caliper itself fouling on the wheel, especially when you fit new pads. You'd have to change the strut tops to the 1200 wagon ones, but the 120Y struts bolts to the standard steering arm, so there's need to change the lower control arm, the ball joint & the drag link to be able to fit the steering arm that the Stanza strut will bolt to. With these struts in my 1200 wagon many years ago (with an A14GX engine), it stopped so well from 120k's that the police car almost ran into the back of me (it was a 100 zone(expressway)). The first thing the officer asked wasn't what engine, but what brakes I had in it. The only problem I found with these brakes are they wear the pad unevenly, so they might be worn out, but don't look it from the top.
