Please note the gasket and the manifold, doesn't look like they match up, any ideas what these SU's came off of, also will it match my a14 head?
The ports are round, so I doubt they came of a GX wich is sopposed to have oval ports.
Also the water galleries look completely differen't than others I've seen on the site, wich have a long rectangular gallery.

Thanx for any and all help.

O and the gasket is just a random one I had lying around, seems to have slightly oval ports though!

fuel pipe, cause thats what runs from the fuel bowls to the needles.
1&2 castings, dont worry bout them

3 looks like a fuel pump type thing but is in the emmisions stuff
4 is where the pcv usually goes in
5&8 are water pipes that the manifold water goes i and out of from memory(i dint use them, blocked them)
6 vaccum line from memory(can block it)
9 fuel line into the fuel bowls
10, casting dont touch it
11 balance screw for idle emmisions stuff i think
13 balance pipe for emmisons type carbs(can remove and block off
14-15 are for the fuel line from the fuel bowl to the carby needle

16 looks like elec choke
17& 19 fuel lines(26 inlet from the fuel rails in car)
28 and 18 already mentioned as water pipes(i think)

22 water from head into manifold that flows out of 23 i think

20 manifold bolt holes

you can get rid of or blockk off all that emissions stuff almost.

i blocked all the water stuff from the head to the manifold- not needed for most use unless cold climates

why close the fuel lines? you will need them unless going lpg/propane.
the front su should have a vaccum for the vac advance on the distributer.

same climate as where i am, was trouble some on cold mornings below 10deg(which we get in winter) but ok once warmed up.

now on lpg gas, no need even more

Those are not SUs, but twin Hitachi 38mm for L18 engine 1973-1975, probably marked HTL38W-7 if you can still read it.

The gasket is early A14, it is the regular oval port size.

4 (24) is the Idle Speed adjustment screw

K14 is the applied model code. The manifold is probably 14002-K1425, which is for the L16T/L18T engine.

Yes, 8 is the water inlet
No, 5 is not for water, it is vacuum for brake booster

9 & 19 are the fuel bowl vent lines

11 (27) is the IMS adjustment (Idle Mixture)
13 is IMS hose
3 is the Solenoid valve for IMS (also listed as "runon solenoid")

Beat me to it.
The whole induction system is from an L series engine.
Many of the factory workshop manuals for the P710, P810, & P910 models would have all of the details that you need. If you get a book, check that the carbs are covered in the edition that you have as not all books covered them.

Even the original main workshop manual for the P910 [in Aust, ... Series 1 Bluebird] covered them. There was a separate suplement for Aussie models.

Even your local library might have a suitable manual.
