unfortunately,it don't work like the manual said..
when i turn the crankshaft (referring to the above picture)i can't get TDC (it will be ATDC) for piston #1 and same goes to camshaft, when i try to turn it (as in the picture)the #1 intake's push rod already pushing,i guess it will not supposed to be like that, isn't it where can it be wrong?

below is the picture of what i've done best for today,i've turn the crankshaft to get the TDC for piston #1..

Yes those instructions sound wrong. At TDC, the crank won't line up as shown in the photo.

Use the procedure listed in your repair manual. Sometimes a new chain will also come with instructions.

Also be sure to check the sprocket height and put the correct shims in, per the repair manual.

Also coungt the number of links in the chain between the marks. thats an important part of it.

I spent a couple of hours doing this just recently and I ended up sticking a couple of pushrods in to see the elevation while I tried what I thought was the correct mark. I don't think it would have taken me so long with a standard cam. I think I ended up counting nine links between match marks (chain wasn't helpful in that regard it's got stampings all over the joint at 4,9 links etc

Yes, the marks on the links do not matter. If you have the shafts lined up correctly and count of the 9 links, you are good to go.
