went to the paint shop today to get some white for my coupe, i went armed with the colour code #821 and it says on the computer at the paint shop -- white/pale grey.
is this the colour im after as the 'pale grey' part makes me think its not very white.
anyone confirm that this will be ok and is whiter than i think??

Color 821 is the color of my 1200. It is an off-white, but it looks all white until put next to a pure white car.

depends on what you are using the colour for, as no matter how accuratly the colour is mixed off the computer, they never match right. they will always require tweaking, and even more so on a old car. And when a member of the pubic goes to a shop and hands over a paint code, they will get a colour mixed straight of the comp.
Also colour names are always odd, and most colours (ie paint codes) have several variations.
