Hey guys,

Just been phoning around the place to see if King Spring actually do a Super Low (2 inches lower) set of front springs for a 1200/120y???

On the online catalogue it states they only do a low and every suspension place tells me the same but i swear that i have seen NUMEROUS people on here stating they have King Spring Super Lows for the front their 1200's and one of my mates had a set on his ute a while back.

So does anyone know what the story is? Did they used to make and then discontinued them or what???

Cheers
Trav

Hmmm sort of answered my own question by going straight to the source.

They in fact do NOT do a Super Low King spring for a 1200/120y strut. They say that the low only just remains seated in the strut and any more would cause them to become unseated.

I also asked if they ever did one and they stated they did not at any time make one.

So all those cars and things i have seen advertised before were telling porky pies i guess!!! Must have etiher just been lows or lows chopped down even further.

I guess now i need to go back to the drawing board. I really need to drop the front of my 120y by more than 1 inch as i just don't think it is worth dropping down at all if it isonly 1 inch difference.

Anyone got any suggestions without having to cut springs??? I'm thinking maybe pedders may have a solution for me......

Pedders are no good either. They say there is really no spring that matches up that they would be prepared to do due to the risk of it becoming unseated.

Anyone have any ideas at all???

Well judging by that i may have to just bite the bullet and either pay a lot for coilovers or cut my springs???

I don't really see any other way around it.

Anyone else have any solutions???

So does that mean they will just fit in terms of diameter? What about height? Will they become unseated when at it's full length???

i just think if they will then i may as well just cut my standard springs or cut some lowered king springs you know. It will be the same result.

Why not lower the spring perch 25 to 30 mm and use your existing springs

Why not just cut them?
