right sooooo. my A14 will start idle fine and if you build through the revs slowly its ok but if you give it a boot it dies on its ass and changing from first to second it dies. it hasnt been run for awhile ive checked the plunger and im not sure if it has dried up or not havnt seen a dried one ompared to mine. i also have an exhaust leak by the header just wondering if its a loss of backpressure thats my problem. any help would be much appreciated
thanks
casey

the Accelerator pump nozzle is prone to blocking, the hole is tiny.. with the bowl full, open the throttle and look to see a good jet of fuel.. (Engine not running)

make sure the check ball isn't rusted into the bottom of the plunger bore,
next is pull the top off the carby to blow the jet out, perhaps some tip cleaners to poke the jet out..
