I cant stretch my budget and my wife will kill me anyway when she finds out about the steering wheel I bought, so go for it Jesse very good price.
You might need some smaller jets though.

Dellortos are a easier to tune than webbers, but like levey said, all you need is to fit the proper jets. Ver nice price btw :)

Not to be a party pooper but just be aware that Dellorto does make an "emmissions" carb and alot were/are fitted to Alfas etc (I actually have a pair: DHLA40F, they are identified by the suffix letter after the size). Because of this they are not quite as easy to tune for smaller engines, as some of the air bleeds are set in the body rather than the jet holders. They can be modified but it isn't just a bolt on and tune with jets thing. Check out the book How to Build & Power Tune Weber & Dellorto DCOE & DHLA Carburettors by Des Hammill, I have a copy if anyone is interested and can scan/post the relevant info..

My carbs are marked DHLA40L - European spec not the Aussie spec DHLA40F

Therefore the jets specs are:
Idle jet 57, main jet 148, emulsion tube 7772.11, idle corrector 210.

None of the late carbs are pollution carbs or really Emission carbs as there is only a solenoid to control the idle more accurately and there isnt even an EGR system
on Alfas apart from a carbon canister.
The late Dellortos do not have numbered idle jet holders, as the air bleed hole is directly drilled in the carb turret which still leaves the possibility of adjusting the fuel idle jet.

The dellorto DHLA40L are the only ones used for the turbo spec blow through setup used on the Alfa Giulietta Turbodelta which had a 2000cc engine, they only made 361 cars between 82-85. So they are well built units and the jets are plentiful still.
