today i put my 1200 coupe srtuts in my ute and cleaned up the calipers and gave the rotors a quik skim ,after mounting both new struts in the car and bleading the brakes on the hiost i put the wheels back on and found out that my wheels hit on the calipers !!!!

is there a cast 1200 caliper that i can put on to help with clearance or just grind the plate on the wheel side of the caliper ?

any help would be awsome !!

It only needs 1-3 mm clearance. So if a little of grinding with a flap disc is required go for it. As long as you dont compromise the structural integrity of the caliper itself.

i know i shouldnt be putting a grinder near my brakes but i dont want to part with my wheels

ooww i could maybe run wheels spacers and then i wont have to grind too much of the caliper

Nothing wrong with putting a grinder near your brakes. What is your concern?

Get struts a 1990-1994 1200 -- they are the new style that fit over 12" wheels.
