Hey guys. I just got my weber back from the rebuilder. And I'm now real eager to give it a try. I have a redline adapter but no linkage.

What have people done to hook up there cable?
Would it just be worth paying $80 for it?

Some one told me I could use parts from a stock carby to get it workin, but they were drunk.

Thanks for the help guys, a stock linkage is now attached to the weber. Just needed one extra washer so stop it from stickin open on the return spring (that would have been scary).

it isnt in the car yet but hopefully there will be enough movement on the throttle cable to get both throats open.

The linkage i was quoted on was not Redline, it was from the guy on ebay whos sells heaps of carb kits, manifolds, linkages, carbys, jets.

Be a little careful with the ebay guys, they make a very good profit on some of the products, the obvious perk being that it all gets sent to your doorstep.

I have had a couple of items supposedly completely rebuilt with shocking insides and very old gaskets (as opposed to the refreshed- re-kitted description). My Mikuni PHH's are a good example.

Good to hear to got your own setup, but yeah fix that WOT (wide open throttle) issue!

The linkage is clear of the return spring now so that issue is resolved.

It looks so clean its almost to clean put in grimey (currently running) 1200.
