Roughly around 2-3 months ago i bought my 1980 1200 ute that i had been saving up for ages!
i bought it with an a15, new stearing but apart from that everything is as stock as you can get.
it still had the original paint on it which was rough as, but i looked it as a positive, i could see any inperfections and cover ups it may have had in the past.
My plans are:
- New paint (almost complete)
- Decent 16" or 17"
- Good sterio and speakers
- Lower
- A few engine mods
- Re do the interior

so far all ive done is bought a new filter, got some kick panels and at the moment it is in the process of getting painted.
ill get some pictures up of when i got it and what its progress is now.
let me know what you think or any ideas you may have.
i am also based in canberra.

Yeah that looks sweet, when i was 15 i was skating and thinking about chicks haha. Well i suppose that hasn't changed, it's just not as often haha good form man

Yeah the colour is a lamborghini pearl orange, looks crazy in the sun!
and yeah mmm im a bit datsun obsessed for a 15 year old but there's
not much i can do about that haha only problem is im on a tight budget but i guess i have to make do with what i have.

Yeah that's it, I don't think a lot of people on here have heaps of money to blow on their Datsun haha. Look forward to future work!

but then again.. every dollar i make goes into the beast! one of the hardest decisions though is personalized plates..! i dont know what to get but im working on it :)
