as Im sick and tired of some stuff thats happening recently.

There has been on the news some interesting revelations about Google.
It was created by the NSA to become an intelligent surveillance application
more than a fantastic search engine. I like many thought at first cool search
engine with 2 geeks students and all the propaganda so started using it and
eventually I started reading some of the founders good intentions and blah blah.
Like they wanted to fight the Evil Microsoft Corp that the Gov couldnt control etc.

Then I thought its funny they want us to eventually have terminals to a main
google servers so we have no software on our machines instead use google in
cyberspace too download and use their software.

Sounds a little like total control to me then I started looking at some news
reports by independent sources not owned by Foxtel or other major corps and
also some videos on what google has been going behind the scenes.

So we have now a Gov NSA corp that outdid MS to help us with the war on terrorism
for our insecure existence as individuals because we are open targets to a dangerous
changing world that requires the Feds with Corporations to look after us and tell
us what we need to use, buy, consume for our safety and wellbeing.

The people who expose this info are not sophisticated News teams with zillions of mula
so they have their problems but this guy is a bit of a crazy pitbull but who else is
going to put themselves on the line?
This guy knows how to wash out the mindlessness that usually permeates our media
(mel gibson, lindsay lohan crap and the rest that tripe on our brains).
He questions and interviews people from anywhere on whats really happening.
He makes money from it no doubt but its better than the Murdoch controlled news
and media.

The history of US empire is nothing new though, pretty much all conflicts post WWI (in Sth America, Africa, Asia, Middle East, Europe) are derived from the original League of Nations carving up the globe for their financial gain.

I always wondered about Google, anyone who claims to not be evil certainly must be very evil.

It seemed like they took over very easily.
I was doing IT learning about search algorithms in high school when Google was just getting big and while google's algorithm was good it was nothing to write home about, its focus on ranking pages by the number of other pages linked to it is great (not google tech though) but does in fact limit the results you are able to find.

How can you find new material that has only a few links to it?

That stuff gets buried and u only get the same old links again and again.

Viral Memes happen because of this ranking algorithm google uses. As soon as something reaches critical mass of links it goes viral, is all over Google and u cant escape from it.

I think Google will be taken down by a viral meme one day that is so successful it is linked to every page on the net, then causes mass redundancy and somehow folds the system back on itself destroying every file linked to anything in Google's indexes.

If people want to go down the road of what if, I'd gently suggest one not worry overly about world government and similar stuff just yet. Since a lot of the forum members are from Australia, I'd instead bring up the fact that one of our closest neighbours has more people enlisted in their armed forces than our armed forces has bullets (even if we laughably could get one kill per bullet - btw - in vietnam, it was something ridiculous like a few hundred thousand bullets for every confirmed kill.... so there they are with a population over 10 times out own, bugger all land to put them on and limited resources (which is why they'll be in west papua till there are no native population left.)

Then you have a media farce like Schapelle Corby who (whether she was innocent or guilty) makes us all look like we have no respect for other countries' laws and you've already started to win over the population to the idea, if it happens 30-50 years down the track. Please don't read that to think that I have anything against Indonesia. I'm simply saying that they'd have to be nuts if they didn't look at our population, our natural resources etc and realise how much better off their population could be, no different to how any other power would have to objectively assess all their friends and foes alike.

It's also one of the few inarguable 'positives' of freedom to bear arms. If you take away a populations means of self defence, you take away their right to it in the same action. That is to say, it'd be a hell of a lot harder for any nation to invade any other if every household had access to weapons. That is certainly being shown to be the case in the modern era of warfare. Having said that, of course there's plenty of negatives (and we are talking about human lives being lost in arguments for and against, there is no clear 'right' answer) with gun ownership too, at least for the minority of people who can't be trusted with or around them.

I just like how the Australian public has been disarmed, in our constitution we have the same rights as the americans to bare arms etc, if the 100,000 or so muslims across the water did decide invade we'ld be stuffed.

I actually always thought that we were being set up by an Australian/American affiliation for an American invasion, invited but not one that the Australian public could do anything about.

It was very interesting what the Chinese did to Google, and the cyber battle that followed, it took a country to 'hack' google, no individual is going to have a hope in hell.

I, mind you am looking @ getting connected to a Thai ISP from one of their satellites that has a footprint over Australia - for 50 euros a month unlimited up/down, and not censored by the Ausa coalition, I've a few friend's over their and when it's all worked out I'll let you know, not that I'll be posting the how to etc, that would have to a face to face :)

Remember that movie 'Enemy of the State' - that was an out of date documentary at the time it was shown.

The thing is it is a local issue, the Fed Reserve affects the whole world

If you dont know who the Bilderberg Group are then its time you did.
