Hey lads, just a quick one, my brother is selling is '76 celica and the fella buying it wants my rims that are on it, SSR mesh 15" x 6.5" with +20. They're in great nick and i reeally don't wanna part with them, but he's keen to pay good money so what seems like a good price? two of them have Bridgestone Potenza GIII's and fatter tyres on the other two. I said a grand at least, does that sounds fair?

TUF-110 and inkjunkie would be able to tell you specifically what they're worth. But I reckon AUD$1000.00 would mean they were in fantastic condition with centre caps and no curb damage.

well this fella is paying $3000 more than what my brother paid for his celica so money doesn't seem to be an option haha. I really don't wanna part with them but if he's THAT keen for them, then maybe. Hmm wouldn't mind a set of SSR Longchamp's tho ;)

to get a good set landed from japan you would probably be looking at $700-1000

but if he is prepared to pay more for them, who are you to stop him from giving you money

I reckon this is one of those deals you'll regret. But As long as you put the money to good use it will settle any lasting regret!! SO don;t blow it on hookers and beer okay?!

Buy the SA longchamps and save the change for the datto?

Hahaha yeah by the time i get real slim tyres fitted on the Longchamps I don't think I'd be saving any money! I'm on the fence atm, keen for some smaller rims like 14" or 13", but I like the SSR's and it's another job i don't have to worry about for Datsun. Hmmmm decisions!

i say sell them 14" max on a 1200 for me plus it can be lower

Yeah that's it, with the current tyres (which i think are 245's by errr i forget) it scrubs and catches on the front guards. Plus i love the deep deep dish look haha

Im currently selling a PAIR of ssr meshies 15x8.5 -21's for $650, thats cheap for the sizes really if thats any constelation to you.

In that size id say they are worth about 800-900 if they are in good nick

Esentially your around the right figure with the tyres aswell
