Hey guys

Interested to get an idea on the size of the length and height of the 6cyl L-series motors... L24, L26.

Also interested to know what kind of performance they are capable of with your basic head/cam/carbs/extractors/exhaust... 80-90hp/litre about right?

Any fairly basic frankenstein combos you can build from different cranks etc?

have you been to look at the zed forums. They are all a bit quirky over there, but is the place to be for this knowledge.

A 3.1 litre diesel cranked 2.8 big bore stroker I chased many moons ago had a single spinner
and left melted tire racing lines on my screen as I caught up with it in my old race car.
Very heavy motors but realiable and over 100hp+ per litre is possible.
Some guy in the states cut and shut welded 2 KA24DE heads together for an L28 which was
a total work of art and much cheaper than an original L20 works twin cam head.
