flipping leafs.

hey guys i have a 1200 sedan with sr20de and standard rear leaf springs. im wondering if i flip the leafs over will it make it lower and stiffer in the rear? if anyone has a set of reset with a leaf added set would be even better?

lookat at the wiki, been done before, flip and add one leaf and should be sweet. 2 hours work max.

Naw, causes no damage to the chassis. But the ride is shot and the handling is bad. Or at least that sums up my ute which has flipped leaves. Looks fabulous!

You best take them out and get them almost straightened, just a slight curve
and your ride will be totally transformed unlike flipping which is cheap but
you will never be happy with the love boat balance.
Then you can go even lower with spacers or blocks in the future if need be.

i got mine reset flat, put the load leaf on top and running 2 inch blocks. thats as low as you can go with a ute cus my tailshaft scrubs the cab
