Hi-

does anyone know or have any idea about how much money an engineer should reasonably charge for a CA18DET conversion?
It's just that I've been charged $650.00 which is very steep for me. He was going on about aftermarket wheels, modified crosmember, gearbox mounts etc. I thought it was a flat
rate of $350.00 in NSW or ACT.
Thanks

Justin

Like Doctors...it depends on the Engineer.

Lohnning Brothers in Peakhurst, are the only ones I'd recommend in Sydney. I'd expect the cost to be $200-$400, I guess GST may have raised the price a little, but not to $650. I
know of at least a dozen people who are happy with their services.

Chris.
