Well on about lap 10 of the first session of Saturday's track day at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch 3rd gear went................was running down hill towards turn 15 rolled off the throttle and zzzzzzzthunka thunka thunka ca-lunk , cha cha cha cha cha..................putt back into the pits and listen to second gear start to take a beating as well with all the bits twirling round inside. On the plus side I made some set up changes that made the car work nice and I drove some friends Spec Miatas, I always enjoy flogging a Miata (love them as much as 1200's). The car now pulls 6500 in 4th now that the flat slides are sorted. I liked the Mid-Close 4 speed but I suspect it's time top upgrade to a 5 speed.
