Free energy ad on fleabay

I had a giggle when I saw this. Its hard to believe that at a time when people are more educated than ever before, that you can still find "perpetual motion" snake oil retailers out there.

Hmmm. Aparently it requires no energy input to run it. So i take it then that the laws of energy conservation have recetnly been abolished...
Perpetual motion. And it loses no energy to fricton or heat or sound, or light. I spose since the laws of energy conservation have been removed, that makes sense really.

Hec Im a bit of a conservationist, but even I accept that some things are just not currently possible. Dont get me started on the ecological con that is solar panels....

I would almost be tempted to buy a copy of the book to see how thay explain it except i would rather spend it on daisy...

Solar energy is inefficient but my parents 3kw setup allowed them to
not have had not one bill for 34 years using BP solar setup that is
ancient by todays standards. But theyve paid themselves easily more
so than buying a new car which depreciates like an old whore.
Instead of just seeing money go and never return it was an investment
for them which has paid out. Today its with even better efficient solar
setups made in australia the returns are promising. However using the
old tech and prices that have dropped and elec prices due to make several
rises in the next 10 years most people like their neighbours are happy
to have installed systems that have been so cheap recently.

Its like the nuclear argument
Mine it with heavy machinery, truck it to the refinery, refine it,
encase it, use it in reactor plants that cost billions of dollars
and resources (most need minimum 10 years de-comissioning for cooling),
spend 20 years cooling the waste rods with water to stop them from melting,
ship it to another cooling decomissioning site for another 20 years of cooling
while dry casked before you have no where to store hundreds of thousands of spent rods.

Recent mainstream studies have concluded Energy and carbon used to make Nuclear energy
is much more than the energy out. Totally useless technology.
Not to mention most of Japan's nuclear power plants are on the worlds most
active fault line intersections for human population.

The same with normal farming practices
10kj of oil energy using heavy machinery and chemicals are needed to make 1kj of food.
Heavy machinery propelled by oil using oil based fertilisers to tread the soil
planting the seeds after opening up the soil with heavy machinery
constant spraying with oil based pesticides using heavy machiner
harvesting with heavy machinery and processing
delivering, export and re-distribution to outlets using oil based transport
you buy it using oil to get there in most cases then using more oil for plastic bags.

Our world is screwed but even in Germany the largest PV users in the world
are making money due to the gov paying owners double the amount back of elec
they put back into the grid as 1 million homes with PV setups eliminates the
need to build a new coal power or nuclear powered station and the big one that
no one knows is the pylons needed to make sure there is enough energy on tap
all at once so when people turn on their air cons in summer there are less cut outs.
In victoria the gov will spend over 300+ billion in the next 15 years for new pylons.

If you do the maths even 11% efficiency in solar panels makes total sense
than using finite resources in an more inefficient manner to produce the
same energy but more carbon.

My favorite solar solution is using nature by vertigro
they use the cheapes setup by any company.

from both orifices of my ex-mother-in-law :)

which bit Clyons.

The fact that people still try and peddle "free energy" creators?
or some of the other comments.

I try not to take sides, in any arguement, just to try and see all sides. As long as you are informed, then any decision you make is the right one.
