I can understand (maybe) that the genuine article isn't too common, but considering the relative performance (they are certainly better than stock, but won't compete with properly sized tube headers) that price is pretty steep. In all seriousness, one could make patterns using an existing exhaust and cast up a bunch of them for not too much more, and after the patterns are made and the first few are done, the actual casting/foundry costs will be bugger all.
