Im not liking the sports steering wheels, even the retro ones
made yesteryear. Is there a way to make adapt something else
that is like the original b10 plastic coated wheel but smaller
diameter to suit the retro lines?
I was thinking of trying to use a 70s Mitsu Galant one but the
splines is too large for the 1000. Its a nice unit that resembles
the original but maybe 2-3 inches smaller diameter which allows
enough knuckle clearancing from the quarter window latches and
door pull handle.

If I went to a sports steering wheel again Id be looking at something
close to this one but with datsun logo and centre alloy arms going out
further closer to the edges.

Thats Lovely Levey but if the wood was black leather with triple
stiching in white nylon it would be perfect

The massive, thin steering wheel on my 120Y is one of my favourite things about it - really makes me feel like it's 1972 :)

actually, check out the size of the steering wheel on my first-generation (69-72) hilux!! it's actually as big as the windscreen
