S13 brakes - CA vs SR - do they use the same adaptor?

Can anyone tell me if the adaptor to fit S13 CA brakes to a standard 110 strut will also allow SR brakes to be fitted? Or do you need another, SR specific, adaptor?

I realise the diameter of the disc is larger but not sure if the SR caliper has longer mounting lugs to suit or not?

Anyone done both?

ive even heard the same bracket will bolt up r32 skyline calipers, but ive never tried.

Well my R34 calipers have the same spacing as my S13 CA calipers so I can say they will bolt to the same adaptor but the big thing will be what is the radius it places the caliper on compared to the disc..?

EDIT: Sorry, same spacing but R34 calipers use a M14 bolt rather than the M12 as per R33/32/S15 etc..
Just comparing by hand the alloy R34 calipers seem lighter than the iron S13 CA ones..

I'm fairly sure that the swap from CA to SR brakes on a silvia is a straight bolt-on... if that's the case then the SR brakes will bolt to the same adapter as a CA.

yes they swap, i have SR brakes on CA s13 knuckles. you can even use s14 four pots and rotors (if redrilled to 4 stud)on the s13 knuckle, so i would think you could even use those with the same kit?

Sweet, thanks for the info..

I will get the CA stuff fitted up then and when I get the bigger rims I have my eye on will look around for some SR stuff (or maybe even fit up the R34 ones )

So now im confused, can the s13 brake swap be done on 1200 disk struts?
I was checking in wiki and it seems to mostly be done on 120y struts?????
cheers

The reason for 120Y struts is merely cos they're pretty close\available to the 1200 items, drum hubs need no machining whereas disk hubs do require a small amount off the outside to let the disk slip over it.

As I understand it, the early 120Y struts and calipers are the same as the 1200 disc ones?
Then the later used the PBR caliper and had different hubs??
