hi all, im not from aussie but i love datsuns mostly 1200´s :D.

i have a white 1992 ute LHD i have now 2 years with it and i love it, i prefer a sedan but its dificult to find one in my country.

well 9 months ago i bougth an a15 for my ute, its a vannete a15 i know that because of the front pulley that had 3 belt passages the exhaust manifold is the big one y the inlet manifold is diferent and the rocker cover its different to.

i rebuild it, new pistons, rings, seals, bearings etc, i upgraded my transmision too to a 5 speed 60 series.

ok im running the 15 since september and its wonderfull, im using a 2 belt pulley cause i have air conditioner & an a12 carby with normal a15 inlet manifold and im not running mechanical fuel pump, i have electronic dizzy and it runs smooth and very well and i fell the diference of the a12 to a15 upgrade.

i really really love the A series engines and im not thinking on any engine upgrades for a long time but want to make my a15 more fun so i bougth a compe. oil pump with a cooler, a mitsu eci multi inlet manifold for efi setup, have a fuel pressure regulator, a toyota ct12 turbo, mitsubishi oem small intercooler and a few other stuff,

im thinking on making the efi setup with honda D16 engine ecu, wiring and stuff i have the p06 ecu that revs limit at 6500 rpm, i also made an A series to honda D series custom ignition support and im working on the custom inlet manifold, want to build the efi setup first then start to think on the turbo setup but its a low progress build cause i need to use my ute every week day

sooo, i dont know how many hp does it have but im going for at least 100hp or so, i hope i can get that from just the efi setup.

ive been focused on the exterior of my ute since i have it but now i want to get my a15 to the fullest on stock internals.

this will be my project tread so you can give me some advices.

cheers :D.

howzigoin dude, my advice is get some pics of your sweet little ute up asap.good to hear you keeping it A series.i just put an a15 into my ute and its awesome plenty of power without upgrading to huge brakes gboxes and diffs etc.my 2 cents:id go straight for some itb's bolted on to a dcoe manifold..nice cam, springs and ports and its hammer time!

100hp is possible but you need a good cylinder head, like the GX head and revs like 6500 RPM.

The stock A15E engine was 92 HP ???

Do you have the Mitsu manifold that bolts to the A-series?
