oil pump question

slowly getting through the a series turbo build and just wondering about the thread on the a series oil pump so i can fit a T piece, my pressure guage and oil line to my turbo. it seems to be a tapered thread and i couldnt really get anything to suit it at my local parts store. what have people used

Yes. T piece will work fine. The other piece of important advice is to be sure to place the return from the turbo nice and high above the level of the amount of oil in the sump. Image not mine, lifted from here.

that oil line needs to fall away, that uphill bit will cause havoc ...
