Hi Guys

Look at this pic the water falling through this vent holes
are gathered under it and and from where they are falling down ? any hole inside it to drain water,
i have noticed while driving in the rain and when car rear is upper than behind i am getting water falling to the driving cabin , so i guess water falling into it is gathered in without draining out

any one has any idea how the setup under this vent holes
?

THANKS
REGARDS
SUMITH

The water exits out the side of the car (in the Datsun 1200, i suspect the B210 is the same).

So clean out the passageway and all will be good

It is common for rust to put a hole in the dash. Then the water comes into the car.

Maybe try to find some rubber grommets to seal the holes if its not a rust hole.

I'll get some pics tonight. There's no other holes other than fan draw and what rust has made. Pics shortly

First pic shows entry point on passenger side under bonnet hinge ( rectangle hole) , second shows exit point in inner guard ( rectangle hole). The highest point in the middle is where blower vent takes in fresh air. Its has a rolled curve to keep water out, the only way that will let in water is if these two holes in front of each "a" pillar are seriously blocked or if you have rust holes in surface of cowl drain

hope that helps
