I just got pulled over in my daily 1200, which is basically a collection of parts held together by a rusty piece of car. Surely enough i have been slapped with a defect. They have given me 7 days before my car must be off the road. My other 1200 is largely disassembled and in need of attention. This attention is gonna need to speed up real quick.

Its gonna be sad to send this one to the grave, one less 1200 on the road. =.(

Any one want an auto tunnel?

Got any pics of the rust they call terminal. If you saw my 1200 ute and how much rust i have had to cut and plate in it you may change your mind about yours being dead.

Thats not good. I'll take the auto tunnel if you do decide to part it out. How about $200 including postage/shipping to Redcliffe QLD 4020?

Actually, rust is heavier than the metal it came from as it adds to it the weight of the oxygen molecules the iron attracts. But then again it does get lighter as pieces fall off :)

Hey Tom.

That's a bummer. You mentioned it was rusty as hell so it was probably for the good?

What's the other 1200 that you have? Sedan as well?

Rust definately is terminal, at least for my skill set/budget. Engine is bleeding a little bit to so i would have to add an engine swap to the to do list, on top of the rust surgery. With the parts for this car i should be able to get my other car running in a week or so.

The dead car is gonna be ripped appart for every piece I can get off it. Any thing that i dont need will probably be spread out through 1200.com. might take a month or so for me to get everything squared away. But itll be on here before ebay.

Other car is another white sedan it from aiden a while back. Its hasnt done muh since then. Tommorrow im respraying the engine and coating the inner gaurds. ive started taking pics as i go so can set up a project thread.
