All, I am selling my 67 1000 wagon. In great condition, Paid $3500 for it then spent about another $2800 getting it upto my standards and on the road. Work done includes new rear shocks, drums all redone, new fuel and brake lines, rebuilt carby with electric pump, new leads and battery. When I bought the car the bloke provided reciepts for the engine build. Goes very well for a little 1 liter. 4 speed, Went through the rego process in February and placed 6 moonths on it. Car only did 150KM in the year as it hardly gets driven.
Loads of spare parts ( filled the back of the ute!), gearbox, doors, bonnet, tailgate and glass. ( note that I will not seperate from sale of vehicle )
Photo's tell the story of the condition the car is in, but doesnt pick up on a couple of spots where paint is bubling. Missing the DATSUN_1000 badge.
Selling as I cannot bear to look at it sitting their anymore not getting used.
Will take $4000 ono. Call ben on 0421 778029, location Western Sydney Call

Wolki, I bought the car off a older gentleman in Vic about 2.5 hours south of Albury NSW. He bought the car off the original owner 20 odd years ago and has been in his farm shed most of that time. Being a racing nut he was slowly doing it up and wanted to take it to the Melbourne CUp one day but unfortunatly needed the cash so had to offload it. All paperwork including most reciepts for the car for the past 20 years goes with the car. It was his pride and joy and he wanted to leave it to his kids but unfortunatly needed the cash.
I think he took it to a couple of car shows as the photos that were on Ebay at the time that it was listed was from a show. Forgot to add he used to have the nsw plates "PHRLAP" looked good on the car but unfortunatly he would not sell the plates.

I remember this old beauty (feel a little guilty for bagging the phar lap theme seeing as it was the old fella's passion, I can understand it now).
It's a great looking car, with great potential to be a sweet 67 example. Shame the bubbles are coming through but you'd be hard pressed finding a datto that doesn't have just a bit of rust, just a litle work would have this thing schmick.
Good luck with the sale, it's a great little wagon.
Do you have a photo of the steering column looking from the passenger's side? Would like to see if this was originally a 3 speed column shift. Just for interests sake, so no need if you CBF taking the pics.
