Can anybody tell me what the hub nut thread is on the larger nissan struts (180/200B, R31 etc) i measured it up roughly and got about M18x1.00.. can anyone confirm this?

Also.. ive hit another snag in the front end of my sedan, fitted the struts, brakes and wheels and the wheels sit around 2" outside the bloody guards!.. im thinking adjustable strut tops and LCA's would solve the problem? ive also heard something about an offset balljoint you can get? its really starting to #OOPS# me

Wardy

off set ball joint- i havent heard of that for stanza or 1200. the stanza will give you more neg camber, the late ute ball joints less neg camber.

im using late ute ones currently but have a new set of stanza ones for when these die- plus more neg camber

actually i think it was in alex's (warz on) mag article in the zoom mag that i read about the balljoints, ill have to call scott at maddat tomorrow to confirm..

Mick- i mean the actual front hub nut that hold the hub to the axle, the struts that i bought didnt come with a nut and im having trouble finding some! Ill make my own adjustable control arms if i go down that path, i didnt buy $5k worth of welders for a workshop ornament after all lol

yeh i thought so too, although its only a rough guess as i still have to lower the front and let it off the stands.. nah i wont be running any camber as the car is built to be fast in a straight line lol
