are the pistons in the ca18det the same as ca18et ???
only thing i can see is the valve relefs
single cam to twin cam

The ca18det pistons as you probably have found on your engine doesnt have
the high ridge on the sides, its more of a flat top with 4 valve reliefs.
I would say these pistons you have put up would hit your valves even with
valve reliefs cut into them.
You best use ca18de NA ones and cut valve reliefs into them instead if you
can get some good second hand ones.

the pistons would of started of life flat
then the dish is cut in to get the right comp ratio
i am thinking thay wont need reliefs because of dish
valves would open in dish?
for the price they will do.
