Over the few years ive been hoarding for my various datsun plans, ive ended up with 3 different GT40 coils an R,T,and RT. This dizzy has run on the R for most of its life. (with me)

Would i benefit by running the RT, or T with out a resistor?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The gt40 is the wrong coil. You need a Bosch HEC715. or the coil from a series 2 bluebird with electronic dizzy, or r31 Pintara. The gt40 coil will power the dizzy, but not very well.
