Hi Guys,
a lovely guy on here sent me an exhaust manifold with flap that turns freely by hand and looks like it'll be perfect! just wondering what size thread are studs go in the base of the manifold to join it to the exhaust down pipe as the manifold didn't have any studs in that base bit!

can you buy the studs new? or should i just use bolts of the same thread size from bunnings?
Cheers,
Tom

Hi Thom,

It depends on the manifold. Some use different size studs.

Nissan sells them. The nuts are special design, although you could use standard parts, the factory ones are much better.

alas it has one stud snapped off in one of the holes.. hmm easy out time at bunnings maybe?

H10 is the Applied Model Code for B110 4-dr sedan (the original B110 of 1970). So that's good.

Exhaust Manifold
* 08213-82810 STUD FIXING EXHAUST MANIFOLD TO EXHAUST (2)

Get them from nissan, or take the manifold to Repco and let them match up some studs.

If you ask Nissan for a Datsun 1200 stud, they will say "we don't have that anymore".

If you ask for part number 08213-82810, they say "sure, we can get that, they are 77 cents each".
