I was going through some various books and tapes and came across the 1992 FIM GP season. Naturally I got side tracked and that years Australian GP was at Eastern Creek. I'm a bit of a 1 2 5 class fanatic as it's the class I club raced way back. The 1 2 5's were running 144's and I'm curious how this compares to the 1200 racers running there. For a comparison the bikes are 75Kg and were making around 48HP (at the wheels), most riders were in the 110-120lb range, making the package equivalent to a 270 HP Datsun 1200. As for price a B kitted Honda RS125 (privateer bike) was 25K in the early 90's.

I had a quick look on the Natsoft website and managed to find the results for a round of the improved production round at the creek. It would appear that Chooie, is pedalling around under the 1:50 mark. With a a well sorted NA sr20 power. IPRA results under 2L.
