Hey everyone. Looking for an intake manifold to suit a pair of Weber 32/36 DGV downdraft carbs and air cleaner to suit both. Cheers.

Since I have two Weber 32/26 carbs I was hoping to put both onto a single manifold. I've seen it done with sidedrafts, has it ever been done with downdrafts?

Source an A14T/A12T 4 stud manifold. Buy two 32/36 webers. Buy the cannon weber 32/36 L-series 6 cyl adapter manifolds.

Total cost: about the same as a twin DCOE/DHLA/PHH setup

Definitely doable but the costs are high:

A14T manifold (lower)

Twin 32/36 carbs & manifolds (just for example):

Example

If you had all the parts at the ready it could be cheap but yeah you could buy a set of sidedrafts for that sort of money. There's also a slight issue with the angles, so there's a lot of hassle for relatively minor gains.

Other wise you could fabricate your own manifold like datsa73 did.

Alright thanks for the info guys (that's why my username still says beginner). Guess I'll just sell meh spare single Weber and put the $$$ toward some sidedrafts.
