Need a new rocker cover gasket for my "Datsun" A-series rocker cover.

Ebay gasket

I think the part number on the Ebay description matches the Datsun 1000 cover on the tech wiki?

The only one I can find on ebay at the moment

Looks like an A and I have on in my hand right now, but I have never seen a J or E gasket so if they are similar I might be wrong.
Still think its an A series though.

Last one I bought at autopro was $9.00.

Why buy from O/S? Surely it isn't any more convenient than dropping into your parts store?

It's all good guys. Jamie is going to save my ass. Just in panic mode because I stuffed mine up by overtightening it and oil is leaking out. Its not real that easy for me to get to the parts store or any store during normal business hours because of my job. That's why I usually by online or from members. Plus having an American accent doesn't work when I go to the auto store. The salespeople look at me real funny.

American accent??? Just pretend to be a drunken scot...............oi la da ken-a getta val koo varrrrrrr gas-gate far may day-two, eats pissan lack a droo-can al-eh-font.........................after that they should understand.

As for the item on ebay I'd say yes that is correct and it's a cork one which seem to put up with over torquing.
