I am tossing up changing my SU's for ether the
Twin 45 Dcoe Weber
Twin 40 Weber DCOE/DCOM
Twin 40 DHLA Dellorto carbs.
What would be better out of all of these with a pretty wild build A15?

The two brands are equally as good. Also consider Mikuni/Solex PHH -- the favorite of tokyo 1200 owners.

DCOE 40s and DHLA 40s are good for a wild street A15. The larger versions are for a dedicated racing A15, for a powerband above 7000 RPM.

Don't go by the bore size, but by the venturi size. If you buy used, be prepared to change the venturis.

ah cool thanks alot, i havnt heard of the Mikuni/Solex ones before.
wouldnt have a pic or something of them?
what are easier to tune?
im going to be making this engine im building pretty wild thats for sure. i want to make all these V6 commodore driving P platers cry! :P lol

They are all the same for tuning. Not easy -- just like any carburetor.

Choose the venturis first before doing any other tuning.

Mikunis were sold by Nissan Competition for the A-series engine. Here is a picture of mine:

i cant find anything with the top one but there is a bit more info with the bottom one
