I just bought a new pair of hood hinge rubbers from projects. I assumed that they were just like grommets and would fit snugly into the hole but it looks like they just sit around the outside of the hole and you've got to stick them on with something. Any suggestions on what kind of glue to use?

Non acidic one so it doesn't eat into paint.

The genuine Nissan ones come with a peel-off sticker to expose the adhesive.

I reckon any automotive-grade exterior trim adhesive will work. Get some at Superchaps or Repco.
