ive just been trying to fit my 1200 ute with a 5 speed gearbox and have found that the original mount is too small. do i need to get one made up or would i be able to buy one?! any info would be much appreciated :)

Datsun 1200 utes never came with 5-speeds, so the mount is for the 3-speed/4-speed. When fitting a 5-speed, you can modify the Gearbox Crossmember.

See Rear crossmember. You are using a 60-series gearbox? Or do you have the bigger 5-speed or the smaller 5-speed? They each take different mounts.

yea just replacing the 4 speed with an A-60. thanks heaps for the link very helpful :)
