I though with the amount of oil changes we go through with all our cars, yes as datsun peeps are hoarders of cars and more than one make I thought it would be good to have an up to date thread on oil and filter deals.

I personally like to use almost any 20/65 oil as they are all pretty good these days as most come from monopolised suppliers in slightly different grades but better grades than available 30-40 years ago.

The A series unlike the K series doesnt need a flow back valve as far as
I know in the oiling desing (pls correct me if Im wrong)

Also would mind putting on an external oil filter relocator to use the
bigger and cheap ford or holden taxi filters.

Peeps are welcome to put the price of my other fave premium brands for
the good engines we also like to look after with the best stuff
eg Pennzoil or Mobil 1 synthetic oils

my daily Patrol takes 10.5l and 2 filters per oil change. Every 5000km. And that's just one of my cars... Best way for anyone to go is to stock up at those 20% off days.

Gtx 3 and shell 20w50 usually $19 on sale at supershit but also valvoline 20w50 premium can be had quite often I found at k Mary scanning for $9 one time advertised at $24 lol.

$9 hahaha love that! got some workboots for free, they where marked down to 25 but scanned at "0" and the young overbleached lass didnt blink. Love multinationals losing pennies.

GULF western $10 for 4 litres works well on my liteace also.

I got my kid a toy for 19 cents not $ and wide got slippers one winter for 6c.... I love just going to price check stuff. Got a $90 fishing rod for 24, jeans for $5 and bike lights for 50c each got 10 and gave most to riding mates that rode with no rear lights. Stupid .

Had same at supercheap got new swaylink bushes $10 lol, just need to instal
