hi all,the gear stick of my 1200, at the base is very sloppie am i missing something,where the bolt goes through one side to the other?????? regards warren

yeah, the two plastic bushes probably, makes a massive difference to slop/feel... easy to fix... get onto it!

they perish and fall apart over 40years

(his name is aboze aka datto master, its 1200 rally car.) You are able to purchase the plastic bushes, i got mine from a local guy, have you tried nissan originals, ebay, maddat or datsport? One of those should have them and i think maddats website may even be advertsing them for 27 dollars from memory? could be wrong but give it a shot.

They are less than $10 for bag of five from Nissan. You only need two per gearbox, but they only sell in lots of five.
