I just picked up a 1200 race car I plan to race in Vintage, and I need a pair of stock doors. They can be bare, no glass or hardware. I was reading some of the threads and you guys are a long way from Texas. So if anyone knows of anybody in these here parts can help I would be deeply appreciative.

Everywhere is a long way from Texas. But there are several club members from Texas here and they often have some spare parts.

You can buy new doors from Prodco. See Doors for contact information. They are only $80.

If you want used doors, do you need 2-dr Coupe or 2-dr Sedan doors?

Yes, Texas is a long way, even if you live in Texas. I have a 2dr coupe, I call it a fastback, because that sounds racy. Can you tell me more about Prodco, location, contact info? I clicked on doors, but didn't really understand what I was looking at, duh. Thanks for the help.

Hey, I figured it out all by myself. The only problem is they sell fiberglas doors and I need stock metal ones. I plan to check with them about their fenders though, so the info will get used. THANKS

I have coupe doors I would be willing to sell, 1973 doors have an extra side guard beam that make the car heavier and those are the one I have. The beams can be removed with a cut-off wheel in a Dremel tool. Vintage rules vary, if your car is 71-72 it doesn't matter and beams can be removed, it's just about weight and rules??

So you just need the lower part of the doors you can reuse your window sash?? If so they would be alot less to ship, and I can drill out the spot welds and remove the sash and you can weld yours back in.

That's right, I just need the lower part of the door, no window frame. I don't need the latching bits, glass, or door pads, just hallow bare doors. Thanks
